Did yall wonder where I went? These last few months have been crazy! But here is a short recap of what I have been doing!








Did ya hear? I got married!!! Our wedding was perfect in every way, it was the most special day...and I really tried to soak in every minute of it! As soon as I get my pictures back I will post more, that will include my handsome husband too!!


Since then, I've been doing alot of this:

and just getting into the swing of being a wife. I have loved every minute of being married so far, the Lord gives me much more than I deserve..Ryan is wonderful! Ryan did buy me a camera on our honeymoon! My begging finally worked! hah! So very soon I will be uploading all of the pictures I have..and have ALOT! I hope everyone is enjoying the season of celebrating birth of our sweet savior, I am so thankful for his selfless sacrifices so that my salvation could be possible! Merry Christmas Everyone!!

BUSY!

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was so incredibly chaotic happily filled with activities. Friday was a double date night with my future brother and sister in law. love. them. so. much. Saturday I went to a sweet baby shower for my friend Mandy, I can't wait to meet her sweet baby boy! Saturday afternoon I did a little honeymoon shopping as I like to say,it gives me a great excuse to buy things I want need for the honeymoon. Have I mentioned we are going to Napa Valley, I can't wait..I'm like a kid who has never gone ANYWHERE!. Saturday night Ryan and I went to a couples shower for my friends Jenna and Bernard...so much fun, I can't wait for ours! I have so many friends who are having babies and getting married...it is so exciting and I'm so blessed to be included in their lives. Sunday was church, where we started a new series about boundaries in relationships...so challenging and I can't wait for next week. If you live in the Augusta area and are looking for a great church...check out The Quest, you won't regret it! After church Ryan and I had breakfast at Cracker Barrel with my parents, which didn't disappoint as usual. After that I did a million errands before going to get my hair and makeup done for my BRIDAL PORTAITS! ahhh, I was so nervous..yall it was sad. Im not vain, but I normally love to have my picture taken, not these kind though. There is so much pressure to look pretty! haha. silly, I know. But all in all I have great photographers, and they made me comfortable, and I can't wait to see the pictures. Literally, can't wait. I wonder if they are ready yet? I kid. Sooo the wedding is so close, and I have 304203947329749874 things to do..which makes my heart beat fast! I'm so ready to bring glory to the Lord by marrying Ryan. Come on November 13th! Happy Monday!

Foundation Blues

I know it seems like a rediculous topic to post a blog about, BUT yall I need serious help. I have been on a hunt for the perfection foundation... and its been a long hunt. I have used alot of different product, but nothing is really perfect! What kind of foundation do yall use? HELP ME PLEASE! :)

Also I am going to do a post soon that is all about my wedding to give yall some clues about what its going to be like!! I am so excited!!!

Overload!

So I am trying to get back into the blogging scene. I have learned alot from just today. First of all...I never knew about this world of coupons! Ryan and I have been amazed at how much we spend at the grocery store...last monday I went ( just to get some staples) and somehow spent $165.00! That is crazy! Soo i have researched alot, and have found some amazing tips...some people get paid to shop from coupons, I'm not there yet, but I hope to figure it out soon! :)

I am going out to eat with some of my favorite friends tonight to a place I haven't been before...The Meltin Pot.



I am pretty excited...have yall been there? I will post pictures from this experience soon. I keep saying I will post pictures soon, but I really am going to, as soon as I get a camera. haha!

I have been praying for a great witnessing opportunity that will allow someone to visit my church, and the Lord answered that prayer this week! I am excited for this opportunity, and can't wait to see how the Lord will use me in this situation...Here I am, send me!

I'm back, I think

Okay, I know i took an enormous hiatus, and with only two posts before this one, I'm not so sure I actually started blogging. But I decided that moving, best friend getting married, moving again, wedding planning, decorating a house i don't live in, getting a new job, quitting that job, getting another new job,starting a college ministry, one friend getting engaged, 12 ( literally 12 weddings), 8 birthdays...........and one shower later...I think I have time to blog. Plus I decided this is such a special time in life, I would hate to not have a record of it! I am not even sure where to begin...but I will give a brief update:

1. I am getting married in 88 days. I could not be more excited and ready for this day to be here. Ryan and I are so excited to learn more about the Lord and what love is through this time, what a blessing!

2. Ryan and I (and some close friends from church) started a college ministry that we hold at Ryan's house. It has been such a blessing to dive into the lives of young people, in hopes to show them the love of Christ. To God be the glory!

3. There is baby fever among my friends, and 3 close girlfriends in my life are pregnant, or have recently had a child. It is so sweet and tender to observe this experience in their lives, and to share it with them is such an honor!

4. I have been decorating my soon to be house, and I LOVE IT!!! (with the exception of one room) Hopefully I will post some pictures soon.

5. The next few months I know are about to be a whirlwind. I have already had one shower ( My soon to be sister in law threw me a Monogramming and Mimosa shower)and it was the highlight of July!!!! Such a blessing to see people in your life spend their money to shower and honor you in a way that you will never forget! I have two showers in September and two more in October, and then Ryan and I will be married on November 13th!!

My prayer right now is that the Lord will continue to prepare mine and Ryan's hearts for marriage. We are so eager to begin this journey together, and to learn how to better glorify and bring honor to the Lord together.

Forgotten God

Ryan and I are a part of a community group that meets every Monday from our church. We take turns meeting at each couples house ( almost every couple in the group is married, Ryan and I are posers! ;) ) Sometimes we read a book of the Bible and study it, or sometimes we pick a book to read. This time around we chose to read Forgotten God by Francis Chan. Some of yall may have heard one of his other books called Crazy Love, which is AMAZING! This book is mostly about the Holy Spirit, and how sometime this part of the Trinity is overlooked. I was one of these people....was. I new about the Holy Spirit obviously, but rarely focused on Him as much as Jesus or God.....why? I have no clue, but I'm so thankful that this book has reawakened me to this most powerful and vital part of my faith. I'm so excited about it I wanted to share it with my friends.If you want to be challanged or refreshed, please pick up a copy of it...if someone wants to borrow mine I will totally send it to you! I'm so thankful for my community group, and the sweet group of girls the Lord has placed in my life to encourage me, challenge me and just flat out love me! What a precious reminder of what the Lord designed the church community to be!!

In the Beginning....

Okay, so I know this isn't the prettiest blog! How do you get more templates to choose from? I have seen some beautiful ones, so I know there must be more options. Also how do you get music on the blog? Oh, I have lots to learn!!!! But I am excited to start blogging, it's something I have wanted to do for a long time, and finally got some encouragment from my friends on facebook to GO FOR IT! :) I can already see how this can become addicting, but I'm excited to share my life, and what the Lord is doing in it to the whole world! He has so much to offer and share, and Ihope to encourage just a few people ( or however many He would want me to encourage) over this journey. Yall bare with me while I get started, happy reading!
